CHAPTER 33.
*Nicole's POV
After the club, Kara, Rian and I went to get something quick to eat.
"What happened to Nick?" Rian asked.
"Wasn't feeling well. So I told him to go on home." I nodded.
We were eating and laughing and joking around. I felt uncomfortable around the two of them.
We were walking on the boardwalk, walking back home. Well, our non permanent home. Our hotel rooms. My phone rang, causing me to jump. I gave the one moment finger and walked away.
"Were going to our room." Kara said.
I nodded, and continued to talk to my mother.
"How's it going?" She asked.
Honestly? It sucked.
"Fine." I said, happily.
"I'm glad. How's Nick treating you?" She gushed.
"Perfectly." I lied, thinking back to our violent sex.
That memory kept playing over and over again in my mind. Us throwing each other around, wrestling, trying to be in control. I wasn't sure why he allowed me to have control, but he did. And as far as he told me, he liked it.
When Nick wasn't being a douche bag, he was a nice guy. And I was beginning to see him as more then a ticket out of my home life. I almost saw him as a friend.
Nothing serious, but when he wasn't being macho. he was a nice guy. Like when we came back to the hotel day and I was sun burnt, he rubbed aloe vera onto me for a good hour, just because the cooling sensation made me stop crying. Not many guys who were in it for them selves would do that. Weather he was doing it to be a pervert, I didn't know. But it made me smile he did it.
"...You there honey?" I heard.
"Yeah mom. Sorry, what?" I sighed.
"I said, has he bought you anything?" She laughed.
"No mom, I don't need anything like that." I said, bored.
"Every girl needs that. Make him buy you earrings!" She commanded.
I laughed, she could be such a idiot.
"I got really sun burnt." I said, changing the subject.
"Oh, poor baby! aloe Vera, Nicole!" She instructed.
"I know, Nick has been helpful with that." I said, laughing.
"You got sub burnt on you back?!" She asked, unbelievingly.
"Yeah, but it's okay. It hurts so bad though." I nodded.
Before she could get into a rant, I cut her off.
"I'm gonna go, have Nick put some more on me then go to sleep." I said.
"Goodbye Nicole, love you." She said.
"Love you too mom." I nodded.
I hung up and went to the elevator, guys staring at me as i passed them.
"Maybe we should go to dinner." A guy said, probably a little tipsy.
"I have a boyfriend." I said, closing the elevator doors on him.
I got out of the elevator, jumping as my phone rang again.The screen flashed, 'JACK ATTACK' I pressed the green button and answered.
"Are you fucking my best friend? is that why he's not taking my calls?" He asked.
"No. He's not feeling well." I chuckled.
I hung up with Jack and opened the door, seeing a girl on top of Nick, screaming and moaning.
"NICK HARDER." She yelled.
I felt a lump form in my throat.
I couldn't even speak. I quietly closed the door and went downstairs. I was furious. I sat in the cafeteria cafe type thing they had. I had a chocolate milk and a big cookie.
I was pissed. He forced me into this vacation, had sex with me, invaded my personal space in the shower, his idea for me to be his girlfriend, and then fucks another girl.
I bit down on the soft baked chocolate chip cookie, probably bigger than a small planet. I sipped the chocolate milk and spotted Nick walk in. It was like a cafeteria. It was odd. It had tables and chairs set up and was open 24/7.
I saw him walk up to the counter, a beanie over his messy sex hair. His jeans clinging to his body. He had on his read hoodie and no shirt under it. He went to the fixings table, making himself his coffee. He turned around, getting ready to head up stairs when he spotted me. He smiled and came over, sitting in the chair across from me. I was going to let him have it.
"I thought you would have come up stairs." He said softly, sipping his coffee.
"I heard another girl cumming up stairs." I seethed.
The color drained from his face, he swallowed hard and placed his coffee down, his eyes wide. He cleared his throat, a nervous habit of his.
"That's what I thought, Nick." I gave him a look.
