Roo (formerly Poppy) is a recently rescued Distemper survivor with neurological issues. He is 6 months old in this video, just beginning homeopathic treatments, and is playing for the first time.

the Wickipedia article on Canine distemper says to keep animals separate until several months after the distemper dog recovers. My dog was recovering from pneumonia when the video was shot. He was probably 3 months past his initial symptoms of distemper. Vet didn't seem to think it was a problem for him to be around vaccinated dogs at this point. Interesting note: he was coming down with distemper when he was vaccinated for it at the shelter.

from your video showing that survivor dog can be living together with other dogs ... is it still be contagious? if not, when the virus stop spreading & died ?

i'm currently help out a stray dog who's a distemper survivor .. but i also got 2 dogs, which i kept separately .. worry they might caught the virus as well .. but i gave them annual vaccine already ..

I too have a distemper survivor, he is just 3 months old, with neurological issues, doctors said theirs no treatment for his condition, what kind of treatment are you giving to your pup?
