straight cut gears are talking about the gears in the tranny, it is still a manual transmission, the gears are cut like so |||||||||(straight) instead of normal ////////(helical) straight cut gears are what is causing that whine through out the video, normally with straight cut gears you use dog clutch engagement which means you let off the throttle slightly to shift. that shifter hes using is a sequential gear box, changes the H pattern into a line.

What is the difference between a straight cut gear box and a regular manual tranny? It looks like you only pull the gear back and use the clutch withoutnthe hassle of moving the stick to each gear. Please respond
