OBAMA Wins Primaries! Obama next President?

Obama met with Clinton at her home in Washington tonight June 5, to discuss the vice presidential slot. Barack Obama has now claimed victory in the race for the Democratic Party's nomination for the US Presidency. One down, one to go. He said he would "bring a new and better day to America".

He clinched the nomination on the final day of one of the closest and most expensive primary seasons ever. Yes, and there goes that word again "change".

"Because of you tonight I can stand here and say that I will be the Democratic nominee for president of the United States of America." Clinton wasted no time in signalling her interest in joining his ticket as a potential vice president. V-day for Obama is a crushing defeat for Clinton's army of supporters.

I have something to say to the Democrats. The game is over, you guys won, I hope you guys are right and that positive change comes to our Nation, I hope that Obama is ready for the challenge ahead. I am so proud to have witnessed history in the making with this honorable and truly decent man winning the right to run for president of the United States.
