@atchley9 lolololol. evidently not about heroin, learn to listen to the lines instead of trying to read between them in a "it has to be drugs" mindset. this is a beautiful melody, full of regret, sorrow, longing, and yet hope. with beautiful lyrics like these, and such strong emotion, there are easly hundreds of meanings, emotions, and thoughts that come from it. sometimes all at once.

Ya know, this song reminds me of my mindset about life. Yeah, we fuck up, we blame other people for shit, but in the end it's all our own faults and once we realize that, we wish for the days when we didn't understand that.
