This is a Tragkraftspritze TS8/8 made by Carl Metz. This style fire pump was used by most rural volunteer firedepartments in Germany. This pump was made in 1963 and very well taken care of. It starts right up as you can see in the video. The pump comes with foldable handels. It can be easily carried by 4 people. It only weights 190 kg. The engine is 40 horse power 1200 cc industrial engine with an magneto, that means no battery is needed to start. just your muscle. The pump has one suction inlet and 2 pressure outlets .At 2850 rpm the pump will produce 200 gallons a minute up to 270 ft. Height. It is capable of sucking the water from a depth of 25 ft. The pressure is up to 125 lbs. This pump is overbuilt, and very conservatively rated. The engine is capable of 4000 RPM and I have seen those pumps pulling out over 300 gallons a minute. The waterpump is sold AS IS. We are closed on Sunday and Monday and do not respond or ship on those days. If you have any questions you may ring us directly 909-391-6979. • I understand that these pumps were first made with Volkswagen engines.
