I think what makes me still believe in us, the human race, is that we can put our own BS aside and come together for someone else. The ending of this movie is repeated time and again in real life. I found another version of this but the song is by billy gilman singing "whats forever for". it will tear your heart out, so not for the causal listener or viewer.

This movie, this song is so heart wrenching. I could not imagine losing one of my children. I would let an animal bite every piece of flesh from my body if it meant saving one of them, I do good deeds all the time and every change I get. The world is becoming a dreadful place to live. I try to show other's that were not all heartless. Do good deeds for family, co-workers, strangers. I love them all. Someone does care about you!
