I bet not 1 person here has any near them. Some1 mentioned a huge coal fired station down the road, 3 miles you say? Its not even 3 miles to howden, that powerstation is halfway down the M62 towards west yorks. If you had worked all your life and invested all your money in a house, for it to be reduced more than half in price, you would feel a little robbed too. Most will loose a quarter of a million, some as much as half a million. Spaldington is for windfarms, out at sea where there is wind!

i wonder if he would be happy with a nuclear power station instead he is probably all for wind turbines as long as they are not near him cut his electricity off and see how long he last without moaning then.

What Godfery fails to acknowledge is three miles down the road the UKs largest coal fired power station belches out a variety of substances from its larger than Big Ben smoke stacks. Godfery also fails to appreciate that for many years people local to this monster woke up to cars and houses covered in ash as a result of this structure viewed from practically all areas, apart from Godferys current location and still currently find strange layers of substances on their cars in certain weathers.

This village is actually treatened with 8 wind turbines to the east and 6 to the west, within 1000m so it will virtually be surrounded if the two different applicants get permission.

It seems Godfrey missed the message again!
It must be better looking at windmills than DRAX or a load of pylons. I only hear favourable comments about the Loftsome bridge ones
