What saddens me is all the people blaming the military, you should all remember that they are barely the fist of your politicians, and you vote the politicians to power.... So ultimately most are to blame whatever side they are on. So continue to vote please, it works so well!

@stevanvinyl um, I think that was part of what he realised, that the military is a cold, damning war machine, and that terrible things happen. He might have "signed up" for that, but came back remorseful, and fundamentally changed in his view. He sounds determined to never "sign up" again. So, what's your problem exactly with that, that he's changed his view, learned, transformed?

@pelicaravansary siiiiiiigh. alqueada was formed pretty much after the war wit the soviets by osama and fellow ARABs fight in afghanistan. if ur refferring to the funding and training of mujahideen fighters in the afghan war vs the soviets by us and saudi arabia you should know that the money nor the weapons went to osama. in fact he supported the arab fighters and eventually alqueada with his own income (he was rich) until he lost it all in sudan later on.
