I have a confession to make: Right after this review, i had this sudden urge to watch both of the AVP movies (AVP 2 was actually the Unrated edition), so i bought of them on Amazon.ca. I watched them and the first one was ok. It was surprisingly cheesy. I just finished watching the second one, and it was TERRIBLE. You can't see SHIT during the night scenes (which is 65 % of the movie by the way), and the child murdering was really disturbing, not ballsy at all, it was just SICK.

i think that violence against children is ok as long as it has a point or moral to it. But i totally agree that this movie is just trying to add shock value and has no fucking reason to graphicly kill children

By the way, Sean, if you like tombs and that kind of stuff, you must also like the "Tomb Raider"-movies and the "The Mummy"-movies.

I love those. I mean, they're just very well-made movies (excluding "Mummy 3") and they're quite underrated for what they are.

And, maybe a stupid question, but you probably played the 'Uncharted'-games right?

Those games are just... no words... the best movies you could currently play, you know.

I loved the 'Resident Evil'-movie too.

And, if you can get yourself to live into a movie, that movie has one scary atmosphere.

Marilyn Manson's soundtrack totally backs that up too.

I watched this movie in the dark at night on my own and it was freakin' scary.

When it was done, I could barely move, as I kinda froze because the room was still dark and the theme was playing in the DVD-menu . XD

@Zaranyzerak Dude...you are fucking spot on in this video. I FUCKING love your bluntless and all your honesty. I recently watched them too after years of ignoring them. I had seen both of them before but GOD my opinion hasn't changed. Requiem sucked hairy nut sack. And like you said, as far as I know this movie is a "SHITFEST".

@Zaranyzerak ... personal opinion, i own predator on dvd. and let me say something. I own the whole original Aliens trilogy (i refuse to buy the last one) ... Anyways, regardless... the original movies were fantastic horror sci fi. it just seems like they want to make them Action sci fi. they don't care about the horror aspect anymore... look at Predator 2 and danny glover....
