I'm attending a HK Arts Festival performance of the Kyrie and Gloria by the Gewandhausorchester and Thomanerchor tonight...

They are good, I like the fact that there are many amateurs (though we had to take lessons) because amateurs don't try and stick out and sing extra loud so much. It doesn't sound like a pack of soloists, but like a mass. Check gewandhaus . de if you want more :)
Pity I had to move and have a family now. I miss.

Lots of things. Beethoven's 9th on Hogmanay. Every year. Brahms Liebeslieder-Walzer (I LOVED this). Mendelssohn's Elias. Durufle-Requiem. Brahms Requiem. Some Lots more, but with Herreweghe (just ONCE, but BOY, is he good!) and Morten Schuldt-Jensen.
