Play More Tremulous: A Tremulous 1.2 Beta Frag Video

Go to 1:17 to skip intro. The "original" resolution offers the best quality on YT.

Watch in the "original" resolution instead of 1080p if you have a fast internet connection and a good computer - this will stream at 2K (i.e., 2048x1152), and the quality will improve a lot even if your display resolution is less than 2K because YouTube encodes 2K videos at a much higher bit rate.

Most footage was recorded from December 2009 to May 2010 on the HSP Tremulous 1.2 beta server at hsp.hk, with updates going from GPP 1943 to GPP 2008.

The HUD featured in the video is my own Clean HUD (http://tremulous.net/forum/index.php?topic=13173). Chat, team overlay, and meta-information (lagometer, external time, etc.) were disabled for this video.

The style of this video is inspired by Ax1oM's Play More Warsow (hence the name Play More Tremulous): http://youtu.be/N8EIEjzEOrI. Play More Warsow remains the best frag video that I have seen.

tremulous began devolpment in 2000 off of a quake mod

natural selection came later but was release sooner in 2002 off a half life mod

I was predominantly Alien, beasted up CWs. It was a fun game but not as competitive as say, SC2 because the population playing it was just a sect of Q3A.

Balance was good for CWs, but in large matches the critical mass formed by highly upgraded humans roll over everything aliens can throw at them.

i remember i played this game with a pc.. 512MB ram ddr, 1,2 ghz, 32mb graphics card!!!!! nvidia (forgot the type)

Now 3gb ram ddr2 3,0ghz dual care, well my gt 220 graphics card broke so onboard 256 mb works but still.. my clan plays it now!!!
