Currently, there is no one else. 20 years of research to back it up and over a decade of practical application. I will travel anywhere in the world to teach this and do my best to keep this affordable and not let it become an elitist sport. I have done Plains Horse Archery & stunt riding for film, tv & commercials for 15 years, but more importantly I live it in my daily life. I have taught youth groups on reservations, demonstrated at the International Horse Archery Festival, twice, been a clinician the Black Hills Horse Expo, given training & primitive weapons demos for the Army, been in National Geographic, on the cover of Traditional Bowhunter, Primitive Archer (twice) and published in the book "Mounted Archery of the Americas" on Plains Horse Archery. This video made my heart smile :-) When I was younger, one of my goals was to be able to ride my appy bareback and be able to hit a target at a canter. I never quite got there, but 14 yrs later I still have my faithful horse... maybe I'll try again!

I was impressed with your Deadliest Warrior appearance and I read the article posted about plains horse archery in Primitive Archer magazine. Very very interesting. Do you host a sporting contest for people to compete, show off their skills and maybe win a prize? :) What are the average length of the arrows you use and the poundage of the bow?
