ROBORIOR is a part interior decor, part robot type device that is equipped with various camera and communication functions and can be remotely controlled using a FOMA cell phone.

ROBORIOR can also be used as a crime prevention tool. The device sounds an alarm when it detects an intruder with its infrared and sound sensors and sends a picture taken with the built-in camera to the designated cell phone.

The sound sensor responds to loud noises externally and the sensitivity can be set in five steps.

The camera module features a tilt function that allows it to move upward 70 degrees and downward 10 degrees, and the camera can cover all 360 degrees when the ROBORIOR is turned to the right or left.

ROBORIOR is equipped with one infrared sensor in the front and two in the rear. These infrared sensors detect the movement of infrared rays emitted from anyone within a 5m radius.

Detailed settings can be made for the robot using i-Apli infrared communications, and Roborior can also be remote controlled.
