After the darkest of winters
a promise arrives with the lights rebirth
I raise my head to the sky
But my heart aches
to see me stranded here on earth

Yet, I am uplifted as it fills my eye
I know it has come for me
to bring me with it, to set me free
from the burden of darkness, I am imprisoned by

I long for the light
I love the light
I see only the light
I am only the light
