Test with new camera mount in Mini 998

A compilation of tests I did with my new suction cup camera mount for my digital camera. Too bad the sound quality is quite low, this has to do with the quality setting of my camera. Will be better next time ;-)

@olilewisuk straight line acceleration and speed isnt brilliant if im honest with you but you can go anywhere at its top speed, any country road anywhere you could do any speed (within reason)

Even the 998 is acceptable, with Twin carbs, ported head and a free flow exhaust you are looking at 14-15 seconds to 60.

But as other people have said, they feel much faster, and are great fun.

Doing 60 in one feels like 100!

I don't own one but I have driven one.

It feels like a go kart, so even though you might only be doing 30-40mph it feels a lot faster, and it's great fun.

is that really the 998cc engine?? Im looking to buy one in the UK but im ca little concerned about the performance of it ... can you give me an idea of wht speeds i can expenct.... cool camera by the way and a great sounding mini!!!!
