Fake Highschool Stuff

These girls today, don't know what to say
When they called out if they act a dumb way

Let's talk about how these girls wanna act
Not like themselves, what they see over there
Wearin how that girl is wearin her hair
Tryin to be what they see on TV
Don't they remember what "real" use to be?
But hey, we're the last of a dyin breed
There's only a few left, you gotta look real hard
We're the ones who haven't lowered the bar
Our level's up high with the standards we live by
We'll never play dumb just to get a guy
But down on the ground something else is found
The girls isolated to only hear one sound
The sound of the TV telling them what they should be
Like "Pay $150 for a pair of UGG boots
And wear them with sweatpants cuz somehow that looks cute"
While we're up here laughin, wearin our K-Swiss
There wasn't any trend, they was just on clearance
We're up in the clouds, yet down to earth
No one had said this so I guess I'm the first
Stop playin dumb, that stuff ain't cute
For once in your life can you just be you?
Like there's more than one digit in your IQ?
You can't get a guy saying "What's 2+2?"
But, you know, some girls do
But they don't know we can see right through
So they play the part like they have no clue
But what in life will that get you?
It wont get you far, that's just a step back
You need to sit down, think up a new act
Like, ask a guy out instead of flirting for 2 years
Tell him what you think
Not what you think he wants to hear
You know what's sad? These girls won't change
After tonight, they'll still be the same
Same girls who waste money on ugly Ugg boots
And who love Taco Bell because some celebrity does too
Same girls who tan so much that their skin is straight crimson
And when they hear "These boots are made for walkin" they think of Jessica Simpson
Same girls who don't know how good original movies were
And when they're asked which one the like better they say "The remake for sure!"
Maybe it's not an act, and they're not fake at all
But if that's the case, then God help us all
Because that's the last thing we need is more OMG
I'll stay over here because that stuff ain't me
So stand up and stand tall if you're real and proud of it
I'm standing here tonight saying I'm real and I love it
I love it how some of these girls won't make the connection
That they fit the profile to utter perfection
They can keep being fake for them it ain't that tough
But don't ask us real girls
Because we don't play that fake high school stuff
