Thank you BlueOrpheus...My 40 yr.old album is a little tattered.
-
@narozzz *unless they were burned from a program with such a defect in it, of course.

Listening to a copy of this on vinyl where there are ACTUAL problems -skips, pops, etc.- on top of the fake ones = the most eerily postmodern listening experience imaginable...
-
@55kudu - Old software = cheezy "fake break". Nothing after 2005-ish has that. CDs never had this problem.
-
@DaddyClb - He needs to update his iTunes. Old versions were designed obliviously, ignoring the fact that lots of albums band songs together and put automatic breaks in-between.

dad... whats a record....?
as a former broadcast deejay that actually cut 1/4 inch tape... every bit of that intro brings back memories, and sadly is now obsolete with computers and digital editing... Todd is a genius...

Todd was ahead of his time, I know I've said it enough times but it had to be said again.

Back in 1972, we all thought we had gotten a defective copy, by the scratch at the end of "Intro". That hilarious little joke is completely lost on CD and mp3. Long live vinyl!!!
BTW, why is there a little break in your record scratch?

How the hell did Todd put this together? This is more than virtuoso songwriting and playing, it's mad genius. Listen to those cosmic arpeggios at 3:45!
