  • decent sound...talented playing....but it sounds like it's all one velocity? when using software as a synth can you split the velocity to act on different samples? for example, like how workstations can split it 1-39 pianissimo, 40 - 80 - mp, 80-100 mf, 101-127 forte. i'm used to using workstations, i'm trying to judge if software can be a suitable replacement. for me, splitting the velocity range to diff samples is essential to expression tho

  • @darkgandhi05a Thank you. With my progam I can simply set min and max velocity values, or choise between different velocity curves. Those parameters will be applied to the VST in use, in this case the piano.

  • Ahh I don't get it... Who the hell started calling this song "Bella's Lulllaby"?

    There are loads of video's which named this song incorrectly!

    Listen to Bella's Lullaby and see it doesn't sound similar to River Flows in You...

    @mrmanson

    Nice playing though! I love this song and you played it very well!

    (just change the video's description ok? ;) )

    ps. How did you record the sound so clearly? Do you connect your keyboard directly to your computer?

  • @Ger0ne lol you're right, I know that this song isn't in the movie, I added "bella's lullaby" in title to get more search results :))

    The sound is so clear because I played and recorded the instrument in fruity loops :)

    The keyboard is a midi-usb mute keyboard.. You connect it with your PC and you can play various VST instruments.

  • The M-Audio SP-2 is very good, I use it by 6 month, and I haven't any problem with it. It feels very similar to my acoustic piano sustain pedal :)
