Thank you for such a beautiful rendition of "The Orphan Train!" I noticed (right away) that you sound so much like Burl Ives, which, of course, is a great compliment! He is one of my favorites!
There's a youthful group, catsand the fiddler, who are on YouTube, also...they, too, sing this song so beautifully. Please, check them out...if you haven't already. I've uploaded a few of my own "little" videos, also: froggiechar

I grew up with my brother hanging with and playing with Utah Phillips, so I've known and enjoyed much of his music for years. Yet it is your wonderful rendition here that has kindled memories and stoked an interest in the orphan train story. After my first listening to you, I had to trace down the Orphan Train movie of 1979. Great story in a movie also. Thanks for sharing your talent on this one.
