Bill Clinton's offensive patriotism remarks

It'd be a great thing if we had an election where you had two people who love this country, who were devoted to the interest of the country and people could actually ask themselves who is right on ...

patriotism is irrational. period.

what exactly is one supposed to be proud of? the government? the physical landscape? the history? all of these are flawed to the point of shame (the second one is simply subjective). patriotism is a floating abstaction.

BIBLE QUOTE: MATTHEW 18:9

"if thine eye offend thee, pluck it out, and cast it from thee: it is better for thee to enter into life with one eye, rather than having two eyes to be cast into hell fire."

[P3] No matter what the Clinton's did during his time in office, African Americans stood by them. Now one of their own is running against them. Look in the mirror here people; they are turning on everybody along the way who doesn't stand with them. Turnabout is fair play Mr. and Mrs. Clinton. You played your cards to close to the vest this time.

[P2] The Clinton's have no real power, the little influence they once had is now eroding day by day with this bitter campaign. Clinton supports are frustrated that Hillary is losing and they come to these blogs to run these rhetorical 'mad-mouth' rants. The Clinton's lost this campaign fair and square on their terms. They played hardball and were dismissive to allot of people along the way. Especially, African Americans, who stood by them more than anybody in the world.

50% of all Americans must be stupid. You fools prefer words over action, glitter over substance.

Sure looks like the beginning of the end for the American Hegemony.

Clinton is a very smart and talented guy.You in America would do well to ignore the petty malicious gossip masquerading as legitimate news media and pay attention to the issues. This kind of nonsense is dragging your country down.

It was subtle, but definitely implied. Keep in mind the whole point of what he said was "this is why Hillary is better than Barack." Maybe he was taking a dig at the media, but it's far from clear.

And what's with his last remark: "and if north carolina votes for her, she'll end up this process with more popular votes, and I believe she'll be the nominee of the party"

Talk about SPIN.
