One of my all time favorite songs, actually written by Adam Clayton.
Thanks for your music.
It makes another day pass.

good work you have the look and sound which is a hard combo to achieve

@WannaBeTheEdge Just as the edge does When u2 first started gigging as a support act for much bigger acts at that time They would just blow away the crowd as they where so good. Then the bigger acts roadies would tune edges and adams guitars up to normal tuning to sabatage there performance with bono having to try and sing at a much higher pitch Before he gained his Falsetto voice Great videos by the way simon

Hello and thank you. Yes, I've had a crack at writing my own material and it seems to work quite well. One day I may put some of that stuff on here. There's no better place to get honest hard-nosed opinion than on here. Cheers mate! Peace!!

Hello very accurate playing of the song. Can you post what effects you used and what settings. I've been tryin to learn this song for a long time with no luck. Thx!

Hi and thanks! Really unless you have a Boss GT6 settings are of no use. I used a altered Vox modelled preset on the unit to get the sound for this song so those parameters are pre-programmed in. Other than that just use a fairly clean sound, delay with some modulation set to 440 - 450ms and the good old Herdim picks for the chime. Cheers.

You sound great man, but just curious, why do you tune half a step down?
lucos911 4 years ago
Hi there and thanks. I tune this way because nearly all the CDs or backing tracks play a half step down so it's easier to retune the guitar permanently. If a track plays in standard tuning then I slap a capo on the first fret. This means I don't keep having to retune the guitars. Thanks!!
