@loveliemomo Parce qu'il le prend en pitié et l'envoie rejoindre sa Lucy dans la mort. Et parce qu'il aurait sans doute aimé que quelqu'un lui fasse la même chose des siècles plus tôt, quand la première Mina est morte.

@kavtoM Dracula killed Renfield so that he could go and be with Lucy in death. He took mercy on him. And he probably wishes someone would have done the same to him centuries ago, when the first Mina died.

@loveliemomo If I understood correctly, he says "Va la rejoindre" - "Go to her" (Lucy). Dracula showed mercy to Renfield's tormented and psychotic soul. Also, I can't shrug off the feeling that he felt a bit envious. It would have saved Dracula an ocean of misery, if someone would have killed him back in the days.
