  • rofl... yea why don't u go give thomas hampson some voice lessons... *giggle*

  • I cannot believe what I read from these operanalysts. Hampson's voice and interpretation will be remembered years after his demise. I am a baritone and I cannot tell whether his F's are open or covered. That is precisely his charm...

  • Say whatever you want to say, but this man's a genious and he KNOWS what he's doing! Bravo, Maestro Hampson!

  • Son français est terrible

    His french is terrible.

  • 1:20 - 1:30 ... OMG ... Freaking amazing

  • @ElZafacon Hamson is a very high baritone. He doesn't appear to cover his top F.

  • An intelligent singer who knows what he is singing about. Good interpretation, in my opinion. Intense, detailed, coloured, passionate.

  • beautiful

  • @meltzerboy Gigli doesn't frustrate me. I don't think the French much cared either.

  • @MrCafiero I agree about exceptional singers such as Caruso, Battistini, and Galli-Curci. The vocal qualities are so extraordinary that I don't care very much. On the other hand, how wonderful it also is to hear all the words when John McCormack, Tito Schipa, John Charles Thomas, or Pol Plancon are singing in their native tongue. And how frustrating it is to listen to Gigli singing in French!
