This has a time lapse of frames that were shot every 3 minutes of the craters Pitatus and Gauricus. The craters were partially lit, and I wanted to see if I could watch the shadows retreat in them as the sun rose over that part of the moon. The seeing and transparency were both bad that night, but I'm pleased with the first attempt to catch this phenomena. These craters lie just below the south end of Mare Nubium, and just above the crater Tycho.
