it was the firebird prototype called the banshee.John Delorean wanted to produce the firebird as a two seater sports car. G.M. said it would make for competition for their beloved corvette and said no.If you look close you will see an amazing resemblance to the next gen corvette(68- 72) . The banshee was shown around the early sixtees. There were actually three of them. one was powered by the sprint six and featured a hard top that was tied together with (for lack of a better term) deck lid
