Transcript to this video:
Yes, there are millions of people starving in the world, hundreds of thousands of them die before reaching their sixth birthday. This is a problem of the inequity of global wealth, which is a function of the way we generate wealth in industrialised countries. It is a massive problem, and no pressure group has made much of a dent in it. We're limited in what we can do until the governments of the world coordinate an effort to do something about it. Anonymous cannot change this, at this time.

Yes, child abuse and homelessness are huge problems, but while members of Anonymous may be involved in the relevant pressure groups, charities and government projects, Anonymous as a group cannot eradicate these problems, at this time.

Yes, there are likely to be wars and economic crisis as oil runs out. Anonymous isn't a synthetic oil manufacturer, or the Red Cross, or the UN, it cannot change this, at this time.

Yes, most developing nations are in so much debt to the World Bank, that even the interest payments cannot be met and their balance of payments and inflation levels will never be manageable enough to sustain economic security, but Anonymous cannot change this, at this time. There are an agonising number of great evils in the world, many of which Anonymous cannot change, at this time.

Of all the world's evils, there are people doing things to address them, or not, and while members of Anonymous may take an active part in the alleviation of any one of them,

Anonymous is currently society's gun, chamber, and bullets for use against a dispicable criminal organisation.

We have an opportunity unique in history: to stop a Hitler-type in his tracks before anyone else gets hurt. One good fight, among many. Right here is the fight to make a difference in the world, and a rare opportunity for the good guys to win.

Anonymous is faceless, leaderless, it resides everywhere and nowhere, and for these reasons it is the ONLY body capable of bringing down the criminal organisation that is the Cult of Scientology - because with faces, addresses, and the need for employment, scores of Scientology critics have had their lives ruined by the Cult's Fair Game policy. Brutal acts of savagery by a group proclaiming to have found 'spiritual freedom' have consistently maintained a cover of silence for the Cult's ongoing civil and human rights abuses. And herein lies the difference. Anonymous CAN, AND WILL, do something about that, NOW.

You'll have to copy and paste the two parts into your address bar to access the link. I guess the link is too long for YouTube to allow it to be "clickable"

If you still can't find the article, go to http://www.time.com/ and search for "Scientology: The Thriving Cult of Greed and Power"

  • Not to mention that CO$ spends $100000 a week on lawyers. Add to that what they spend on PIs and on supporting David Miscavige's gambling and lavish lifestyle, and you could probably feed a hundred thousand hungry kids around the world every day.

  • Pretty rich coming from the Co$. Starving kids in the world, etc. - yet they spent 6 figures on tom cruise's b-day bash.

  • Fuck scientology, fuck the corporate media, and fuck all those idiots that have no problem being enslaved by fascism. sometimes I wish a big calamity would strike us and kill all the idiots, leaving the smart people alive.... as long as the corporate media is here, we will never develop past our current situation. it will only get worse! We need someone to launch the first attack to spur the country into revolution!

  • Fail

  • Very well put.

  • Well done!

  • This was just an excellent response.

    Very articulate.

  • Thank you Anonymous! Ever so grateful to Anonymous! Lurve Anonymous!

  • This is what I have been saying since forever.

We have the power to show countries that the western world is not filled with evil spoilt brats but with people that care.

When anonymous protest against things like this as well as animal abuse in the gambling industry I WILL BE THERE TO SUPPORT THEM.
