These are Nuba, not Nubians. North Sudanese are related to Nubians. Nubia is in southern Egypt.

10-1-2011 independence day a fact and I hope this is the beginning of a never ending harvest of "what the people want" building new houses and gardens.And bring back the different lifestyles and variation like before.Nobody should tell anyone how to dress....woman rights/matriarchal life/ make sense.

The Nuba have fought for the SPLA, but are now abandoned by the southerners. It really looks very bad for them, i fear that after the south´s independence the north will take revence on the Nuba. God willing i am wrong.

Very very nice! I come from Afrika east coast. We r classified as bantu by those ****. we dont speak nuba language but these tunes + rhythms are just too familiar. God bless Afrika.
