Jeff and I fly the F-18s in a little formation flying. The Art Tech F-18 C is his and the Exceed F-18 C is mine. His is quiet and a bit slower, but it looks quite impressive in the sky.

I had some issues with mine, which were rectified with a little tweaking, but all in all, this is a beautiful flying machine and great to watch.

Here are a few specs.
* Wingspan: 780mm (30.70 in)
·Length: 1160mm (45.66 in)
·Flying Weight: 850g
·Wing Area: 12.5dm^2
·Wing Load: 68g/dm^2
·70mm Ducted Fan (2.75 in)
·Servos: Five 9G Servos
·Motor: 2836 Brushless Motor
·Speed Controller : 45A
·Power System: 4-Cell 14.8V 2200mAH LiPo Battery (Charger NOT included)
· Radio System: 4-Channel TX and 6CH Rx

Thanks for watching and subscribing.

  • what would you say bettert ? art tech or exceed rc

  • i love the video. what does the c stand for in f/a 18 c? im looking to get one and dont wanna get the wrong one. im a first time flyer, but a quick learner been into rc 8scales.

  • How do I get started testing planes like you do

  • @EnterpriseXI Look up accipiter badius, I have one and its a nice park flyer. If you wanna get into the hobby with nitro aircraft, then I recomend the Hobbico Nexstar .46. Its the best trainer money can buy.

  • the blue angels would be proud, kik ass jet, mate.

  • For people who keep asking, the F-18 is NOt a good beginner edf jet. A Good Beginner Edf jet is a T-33 . Even a small one with say a 30" wingspan (50mm) they are very stable, low roll rate, low elivatior throw and if you crash it, its easy to fix

  • Five star. And what you said about people returning items is true

  • @NightFlyyer hey dave my name is jalen and im only 12 and i strted flying when i was 9 and i just wanted to to know tht u inspired me to strt flying and the planes tht i have are a BZ-35, that exact plane but in a tiger meet version, a cuper cub, and a F-22..... anyway thnx and please keep doing ur videos

  • i hear alot that a F-18 is a good beginner EDF. do you agree? if not whats better for beginners?
