If those are reasons why a person would downvote the suggestion that airports should be boycotted, we are in serious trouble.

You're right. A better option would be for everyone who purchases a ticket to say no to any kind of search or choose one of the many charter flights that are outside the obstacles presented by the main terminal. But, I'm pretty sure the guys running the airlines would find a way to get those thugs out of the airports if their money stopped coming in.

In all reality a terrorist attack could happen almost anywhere by almost anybody at anytime the fact that it doesn't happens so rarely and not on a continues bases really says something.

that would make sense if TSA was paid for by the airlines. the govt doesnt mind wasting money securing a resource no one uses. it would give them a new reason to push high speed rail. and TSA employees are content to do nothing if it still brings in a paycheck.
