Final track from Silver's "Six Pieces Of Silver" album. Recorded at the Van Gelder Studio, Hackensack, New Jersey on November 10, 1956. Originally released on Blue Note (1539).
Horace Silver (piano); Hank Mobley (tenor saxophone); Donald Byrd (trumpet); Doug Watkins (bass); Louis Hayes (drums).
It sounds a bit like "Peace", another H.S. composition. This one perhaps is a bit MORE peaceful-sounding (using only the trio), with a lovely piano solo by Horace.
Thanks!
