In order to break in a baseball glove, the leather needs to be softened with treatment oil, and should have a ball pounded into it repeatedly. Break in a new baseball glove and avoid developing a wrinkle in the pocket with tips from a baseball instructor in this free video on baseball tips and tricks.

  • i stopped using oils becuase i buy rawlings gloves now and there alot more broken in than most other gloves....i normally throw than hit it with a hammer than throw again(i do this the day i get it) than i let it sit the night

  • @TheKmk666 it isnot the glovethat makes theplayer. it is the player that makes the glove. you don't have to go out and buy an expensive glove. but for a brand, i suggest rawlings or mizuno. but if you do want a expenisve glove, buy a nakona.
