our resident windows guru, john g., discovered the lovely ladies of the paper-cut project at an event this spring. amy flurry and nikki salk, a fashion writer and virtual stylist, respectively, have made their mark creating elaborate paper-art installations from their atlanta studio. to coincide with our lillian bassman capsule collection, john commissioned the pair to design 20 headpieces, inspired by the windswept model in bassman's famed photograph, "a touch of dew."

see the pieces on display this month in our new york city shops.

many thanks to caroline petters for capturing the paper-cut project in action!
