Dont doubt that the nature up north is beautiful, but its probably quite different than that of western Norway:) Studied some months in Bergen, and I found the surrounding nature very nice. Half an hour walk from the city center and you are up in the mountains...

Funny, since I've read statistics saying that Oslo is the "greenest" capital in Europe. Next time I suggest you travel outside downtown Oslo and see what it's really like.

I dont agree that there arent enough trees there, but I do agree that its not a pretty city. The peace prize ceremony should have been in Bergen instead, then Obama could have experienced the beautiful nature of western Norway. Doesnt exactly get to much of that in Oslo...^^

This video shows a good example of what downtown Oslo looks like. Notice that you can't see a single tree. All there is is concrete, glass and asphalt. Oslo is by far the ugliest capitol in western Europe, despite the fact that it is one of the smallest. I think that's a paradox.

@branndotus If i had turned around, there would have been trees behind me. And just to the right of us there is more trees...
It is always good when people talk about things they know NOTHING of...
