The CDMP 6000 by Gemini is an all-in-one dual CD player/MP3 player and mixer designed for beginners or mobile DJs. The main draw to this system is it's capability to play MP3 CDs or play MP3s off of a USB flash drive. There is an intuitive scroll wheel included that makes navigating folders and files a breeze. The system also includes many desirable features that are uncommon for a system of this price range. Seamless loop, scratch, BPM counter, and variable pitch settings are all features that are hard to find on a single system at this value. None of these features are phenomenal in function, however they do work and gives the user options while DJing. The overall build quality is good, resulting in a strong system with solid parts. The buttons and switches are of good quality, providing a positive click when utilized. This system is great for beginners or mobile DJs looking for something to mix songs with at parties or other gigs. Despite minor setbacks in functionality (cuing the track to the beginning of the song, for example) this is a good system and I would recommend it to someone entering the hobby of DJing.

  • Could this be plugged into a guitar amp by any chance?

  • @BritishMetalIsKing Not sure about guitar amp inputs. I think they're 1/4 inch? If so, you could buy a cable that goes from XLR out to 1/4" in, or RCA out to 1/4" in. But in theory, yes you could hook it up to a guitar amp.

  • does it have hot cues???

  • @MilanCruz95 No hot cues.

  • does it have an auxilary input?

  • @Marihuanerro It has two RCA auxiliary inputs.
