Thier were Three cities of Tyre. The one on the coast and the one on the island. Those two were destroyed and ever rebuilt. The first had it's materials thrown into the sea to make a causeway to the second. Neither site was rebuilt. The third was located some distance south.

"Generation" was not translated wrong, and this is quite evident, as I stated, by the fact that ALL the followers of Christ repeated claimed the second coming was near, immediate, at hand, etc. I need not rely only upon translation to determine this fact.
