It's disgusting that the catholic church actually present it as people who are FOR stemcell research are simply ignoring any ethical responsibility. Whereas in reality, they've just made the decision that the "sanctity of human life" is a medieval concept and should be revised. The catholic church knows this of course, they just have to maintain the position that they're in some way occupying the high ground.
-
You just gotta laugh when you hear the catholic crutch...errrr....church talking about how each life is sacred.

u still havent stated the name of the missing link, ur answer of "oh natural selection drives evolution" is totally wrong, natural selection isnt evolution, for example if a dear has horns and they are inlarged in the next gernation, that dosnt mean that the dear has become a totally different creature rather natural selction is building on genetic information thats already pressent, not information gained.
if you dont believe DNA came from nothing evolution isnt for u.
-
there's nothing missing in the chain? ok please name the missing link which shows the so called ancestor of man, then explain which natural law that allows apes to mutate into human, futher more go unto explain how on earth genes aid ur argument, when last i looked DNA does not come out of nothing as you profess.
unless you and your fellow athiests can answer all these quastions and undoubtably many more, evolution will forever remain a mere fanciful ideology.
-
There is nothing missing, we have a complete chain all the way from homoerectus to homosapien. You can find this information in every major university in the world.
And thats just fossil evidence, lets not forget the DNA evidence. We use it in the legal system to prove someones relation to thier father/mother/cousin, it has also been used to prove the relation between us and the greater apes. By amazing coincidence it matches the fossil evidence...

actully its based on science,my opinion has nothing to do with truth.its not that it contradicts my belief system that i find evolution so abhorent, but because the very essence of reason and logic forbids it, i mean seriously, athiests have get to find the bloody missing link which they have been lusting after since darwin first spoke of evolution, use ur reasoning, dear, no evidence of missing link = unsubstantiated theory.
thank God the 21 century is blessed with knowledge.

If you believe that your holy book is the innfallable word of god, you have to accept that your understanding could be wrong. If there is a large ammount of evidence for evolution then one of the following must be correct
1)The evidence is all wrong, and by a series of coincidences all the evidence fits together.
2)The information in your religious text is wrong.
Now, most people think that it has to be one of the two but there is a third possibility
3)Your interpretation of the text is wrong

I'm sorry but everything your saying seems to be based on your opinion rather than scientific evidence.
If you want to disbelieve in something just because it goes against your religion thats fine, but don't belittle the value of science and of objective reasoning.
There aren't any contradictions in the evolution theory, this is why it is so widespread. There is no predjudice in science, thats why it works.
I was a Christian for 53 years of my life; then I read the bible for myself! Your bible god, is a manufactured, insane, murdering cur, who tortures human kind from the beginning of the friggen book! He is much like the little boy who spends his days getting his rocks off by pulling the wings off of friggen flies!
I am NOT a fucking fly, or a rib bone; I am a reasonable human being and refuse to worship any deity that condones, rape, murder, torture, and killing on a mass scale!

First - Random mutations driven by natural selection are what drives evolution, you can see this in anyone who suffers from down syndrome or dwarfism. Mutations are all around us, it is why some people are taller than others/have lighter skin etc.
Second: I never said DNA came from nothing, I do not profess that life spontaneously came out of nowhere. I don't know where life came from, no one does.
Third: I am a Muslim
