Sorry for noisy sound from an old VHS.
Leonard Bernstein with the Israel Philharmonic Orchestra played his West Side Story at the Symphony Hall, Osaka on September 7, 1985.
I saw him with my own eyes then.

  • I wish the orchestra was as energetic as Bernstein is when they shout.

  • I was almost shouting 'Mambo!' in my seat then.

  • You were lucky enough to see Bernstein with your own eyes?! I wish I could have. He died before I was born.

  • @sireofzelda I was lucky in my school age. At that time, I had enough time and money.

  • This is the Symphony Hall in

    Osaka.

Suntory Hall(from 1986) does not exist then.
