Steve Jobs demos some new widgets in Dashboard at Macworld 2005 and adds his sense of humor to the presentation too. This is quite funny...

  • @leandrodafontoura I didn't like the G3 iMacs. I liked the PM G4 case, the PM G3 is okay. iLamp is awesome. I actually prefered the first Mac mini design.

  • @leandrodafontoura "And sometimes that makes me choose Apple, and sometimes not choose Apple." That would be okay if PC companies were on the same or similar level to Apple.

"The MacPro case, as well as macbook pro/air and cinemadisplay/iMac, look very industrial to me." IMHO, only the Mac Pro looks industrial, but then again, I don't pay attention to that like you.

"dell R15" I searched. I lookede through the results, saw the second. Wow!

  • @Nutz320 Now, I personally pay a lot of attention to desing, thats not everyone, its me. I loved the G3 powermac case, the color iMacs, the Lamp iMac, the first White Macbook pro, but since 2007, all I have from apple is the white macbook. And in 2010, I got the new slim MacMini (hated the first desing) I do use bootcamp for XP games, but the hardware is not fast enough for Vista/7 games.

  • @Nutz320 The thing is I like to think different. And sometimes that makes me choose Apple, and sometimes not choose Apple. The MacPro case, as well as macbook pro/air and cinemadisplay/iMac, look very industrial to me.

look at the dell R15 notebooks, they have glossy/shyny covers, even the inside has glossy details and chromed aluminium on the side. to me, it looks like apple products were fabricated on the Terminator 2 factory

  • @leandrodafontoura "I dont like MacPro case design" So, I'm guessing sleek exteriors aren't your look, then? :P. I love the Mac Pro case design. Although, sometimes I wish the iMac would go back to the iLamp design.

"I miss the day when you had an iMac in 8 colors." LOL, yeah! PC companies nowadays do this and people say, "Apple sucks. They don't let me choose the design." They have no idea that Apple started the whole trend. Without them, all computers would be beige.

  • @leandrodafontoura "I hate the current iMac design." That's quite surprising to hear, but of course, not everyone is going to like the same things. I think Apple just makes the design that will appeal to the most people and they stick with that one design.

"I dont like "black keys" on the keyboard" The black chiclet keyboard. Yeah, when the Unibody MBPs came out, I thought the old ones looked WAY better, if only because of the keys. But the design grew on me. Just don't close yourself up.

  • @leandrodafontoura "I never see myself using any other mouse for everyday taks, except gaming." My sentiments exactly.

"I prefer to own both a PC and a Mac." Why not just Boot Camp? Unless you like messing around with the insides of the computer.

  • @Nutz320 In addition, Apple will have to pay for its choice of not allowing us to choose. I hate the current iMac design. So I have a MacMini with a Samsung white display. Since the MacMini is not powerfull enough to game, and I dont like MacPro case design, I had to build a custom PC. Regarding mobiles, I dont like "black keys" on the keyboard, so I have a Sony VAio with grey keys. Well, I also have a white macbook. I miss the day when you had an iMac in 8 colors....

  • @Nutz320 I prefer to own both a PC and a Mac. Magicmouse is perfect for almost everything, specially when you need to scroll horizontally..not to mention it doenst make that "whreckrewhck" noise. I never see myself using any other mouse for everyday taks, except gaming. For gaming you need a mouse with wheel scroll and lateral buttons.
