if you dig up a road, underneath you will find a road built by the romans. Nothing is wrong with these roads, they have just been reinforced and covered up over the centuries to make way for the changing vehicles that use them. A roman road was built for hores and cart, not lorries and busses. Our roads were built by the romans and thay are still there.

In modern practice, yeah, the entire UK works as one. That idea can be applied to all areas though. Was it the Africans, Asians or Arabs who build the various pagan monuments across the British Isles or was the Irish, Scottish, English and Welsh?

WE, as in the natives, maintain those things. The foreigners who are coming would like nothing more than to demolish these things to build their own religious temples.

jajc123 - yes and of that 1/3 most were descents of Britons living in Canada, South Africa, Australia etc. In any case they were paid for their services like any other soldier, and many recieved medals and honours...so does this justify mass immigration into the UK without proper integration policies to ensure community cohesion and social harmony?

The only left-overs from the Roman roads are the routes they take. The roads have been paved and re-paved countless of times by British people.

the railways were built buy immigrants from southern ireland, the sewers were mostly built by foreigners employed by the british government. 1/3 of the number of people who died and fought for britian in the ww2 were from other countries. when he talkes about past wars, and the peasants that died for our country were exploited and used by the higher classes to fight a war where they would have reaped no benefits, and the majority of the wars was invading other countries not defending their own.
