The ultimate joy and pleasure in the universe is God himself
To give us everything but himself is to hate us

Discipleship is how we figure out who we are
Don't waste your life treading water. Discipleship is never a waste of time.
Pursue direction through wise counsel

How to not burn out in ministry & work
We burn out because we lose our sense of purpose and joy not because its hard
We need to see work as a chance to live out Christ in our ethics and our care for others (pick your employer carefully)
God does need us to serve him. We serve him to enjoy him.
