How to bypass/change the PS2 DVD parental code

i got my PS2 and apperantly it had a parental code and the ppl i got it from didnt remember it. so i found a trick/hack on how to bypass/change the code and decided to make a video since there are like NUN on this subject. hpe it helps

omg thank you. lol. I got mine new forever ago and never set up the parental controls. so i had zero idea why it said i had them up and didn't know how to get rid of it. NOW I can watch the movies. :)

Ok, Thanks to this video i worked it out, play a video that play's without the Parental Lock poping up, then as the Video is playing press "Select" and go to set up, from there you need to go to the Pad Lock icon, go down to the Parental level, and do as the Video shows you, only set up your code, this time it will work, and when it works, TURN OFF THE FREAKING LOCK ONCE AND FOR ALL!!!!
