All roads are closed in and out of Grafton Vermont as much of the town is underwater. Irene takes us by surprise as small streams become raging torrents of destruction. All people in the town of Grafton are safe and accounted for at this time. Video By Artist Bryce LeVan Cushing.
So sorry Vermont.
God Be with you as you rebuild.

What bridge was destroyed? I was just at the Kidder Hill Bridge and the Grafton Cheese Bridge last Wednesday.

Bryce, these are the best videos of the flooding in VT that are out there. I hope that Grafton is getting food and supplies in there by now via the airlift. I am posting them on Twitter, and I hope they are helping the state and rescuers understand the devastation and the degree of help ALL of VT needs. >Ruth

So sorry all this is happening in beautiful Vermont. I hope people have stayed safe and that none are in trouble. My husband is from Massachusettes (we live in Alabama now, my home state) and I just love New England. Most beautiful place in the world. It's sad to see loss of property (hopefully not any loss of life) and 140 covered bridges gone in a flash like that. .

I'm from Florida, and have relatives that live in Grafton and Chester. I just want to thank you so much for taking the time to post all the videos...I've been trying to catch things on the ( news)..powers out and no cell service in some areas. Thank you, I have seen so much more through your lens....God bless you, all of Grafton and Vermont. I used to live there...Take care all of you...
