pt2: And as far as restoring an original hot rod. that's cool. But originals are only cool in a historical, classic, since. Hot rodding is about building YOUR car. When restoring a classic rod, you're only fixing someone else's car. but that's just my opinion. Even a plastic POS is better than no rod at all (just barely).

Personally i think those plastic POS's rip the heart and soul right out of hot rodding. First of all their worthless, and a dime a dozen. They are all show, and most WILL fall apart. They are NOT hot rods, hod roding is about a metomorphisis from one car into another. And anything that starts out life as a hot rod, isn't one. And last but not least, anyone with a wrench, a hammer, and half a brain can build a kit car. Which means they are nowhere near as special.

sorry you can get replicars and do that to them but leave the originals alone. You can probably find an original hot rod to restore.

Why?? When you could make it soooooo much cooler (not that it isn't already) and faster . The model T is the base for the quintessential hot rod (the T-bucket). Besides, That's one of the great things about cars, if you don't like what someone else has done to one, you can always put it back.
