Dinosaurs in forest: Stop motion dinosaur

Well I'm back with a new "test" clip. I hope you like it.. This was only done in an hour so it's a bit rushed I could have done a thousand times better give enough free time. (I don't have a lot of time in-between uni to do much these days). Anyway enough with the information about my boring life.

This is basically a test for my new film and my new bird-dinosaur puppet. I think it pulls off the look I was going for. Although I next time I'll use hair spray on him to stop that ruffle of feathers.

I glued the feathers (and fur) on to the foam of the puppet with hot melt glue. It seems to have held alright. Although tape might have been stronger.

Good idea. Unfortunately there are several problems with putting teeth on the bird-dinosaur. One would be that the puppet itself is to small for teeth to be added. Another problem is that the ancestors of birds had no teeth, even though they evolved from dinosaurs, they developed from tooth-less ancestors some time in the early Jurassic.

Thanks for the idea though. I might use it in a future film if I need to make a more primitive bird-dinosaur.
