AOTE 2008 is a nine-day festival which took place from November 28, 2008 to December 6, 2008 around the Empress Place/Singapore River precinct. It showcased Asias leading and influential thought leaders, innovators, artists and entrepreneurs, and sought to build and deepen cultural, social and economic engagements within Asia and with the rest of the world, whilst promoting a collective Asian voice among the world community. Through forums, showcases, presentations and networking events, AOTE provided an important platform for dialogues and discussions to explore and understand the Asian conundrum, and in the process, instill and reinforce the pride in Asias diverse culture and heritage.
