The Incredible Shrinking God

Every time we investigate the world, god seems to get a little smaller, and less powerful. To continue to believe in gods, you must ignore mounting evidence, and find smaller and smaller places for your belief to hide. Most just deny facts outright, it makes it easier to believe, instead of trying to reason and wriggle god into existence. With knowledge, and by removing blind faith, eventually belief in the supernatural will disappear.

Yep, this god fellow seems to be finally shrinking into the tiny, unimportant speck of nothing he ultimately has become and always had been. This is a dream come true for me. After over 4 decades of waiting for others to join me in the real world, it is finally happening. God is going away, far away into nothingness where he/she/it belongs.

Couldn't agree more man. You nailed it. I think its funny how God seems to keep changing. God is supposed to be this loving being above all according to today's teachings. People change their perspective of God to accommodate what they want to hear. God isn't a loving compassionate being. It says we are all like lukewarm water to him that he vomits out. That's where "Jesus" fills the void. God killed 2.5mil people in the bible. Satan's count in the bible was 10. Real loving and compassionate...

True.  And its not only a lack of evidence, but every aspect of the religion also failing. Now, suddenly, parts of the book are becoming metaphor rather than admit it was written by humans who didn't have a clue.
