No Arms - No Excuses: Hector Picard & Others Cycle to Key West on a Century Ride - HD GoPro Hero2

I enjoyed a fantastic century ride to Key West with 7 other cyclists, including Hector Picard. Most people would excuse themselves from a ride like that. Hector Picard, a double amputee didn't. No hands. No excuses.

On top of that, Hector nailed down a respectable 19.7 mph average on the ride. Not only was he a ridiculous inspiration, he was also a great athlete and a gentleman.

It was a privilege spending the day with Hector and the rest of the crew on a ride cycling all the Florida Keys' islands in a century ride organized by Florida Keys Bike Tours (www.keylargobike.com) and Mark Terrill.

Well organized. Exceptional hospitality. Unbelievable scenery. After the ride down, we grabbed fish tacos at Jimmy Buffett's Margaritaville on Duval Street in Key West, trailered up the bikes and were back home in no time. Excellent experience all the way around!

@sog305 get a bike, joker! We're looking at putting together some regular rides in Homestead. Cycling in Miami is huge. The furthest south starting point that you can find good rides is black point.

I'm changing that. Grab a bike. Get in gear. If you need some help finding the right wheels, let me know. I'm a cheap joker. I love Craigslist. And, I love cycling (and you, bro!).
