@TheProgNerd Progressive rock from the 70s evolved into well, Asia, haha. John Wetton, one of the big Progressive rock guys, very well saw where progressive rock was going while he was still in UK and so the trio became the ground work for Asia. Progressive rock is definitely coming back though, especially with bands like The Mars Volta.
@TheProgNerd I can see your point. I personally cant get into rock forms any longer, period. I find early, aboriginal music of Europe, Asia and Africa to be timeless and will still be around, as it is now, after all this silly self absorbed rock and roll goes away.
Punk didn't kill prog. It just took credit for it. Prog killed itself by not remaining flexible and "progressive". Only the forward-thinking prog bands survived the transition.
Ironically, punk is now in the same position. It has gotten stale, cliched and stagnant, whereas prog-rock is moving forward again and becoming more daring and...dare I say it...punk, in its attitude.
Yikes! This is horrid. Thank you Punk rock for killing this prog rock sludge so I didn't have to hear it growing up. YES and KING CRIMSON were cool. This is just powder puke.
is this after moonmadness!! carnt be !!! i mean come on what went wrong

This is a great song, which kind of reminds me of a band I've heard a few days ago, Aperco. Hear the similarity at their channel apercoband

Well said. I love ethnic music from different cultures; particularly Asia.
