@Testinator1234 - That's why I pointed people towards Marco's video on Chicken Kiev here (look up in the thread, and you'll see I'm the one who brought him up). There is no need for toothpicks under ANY circumstances.

@MrPlanx Marco's chicken kiev video is miles better than this. The only problem is his method requires considerably better cooking skills given the way he cuts the chicken, opens his chicken breast up, chops the garlic, etc etc. But the filling is much nicer and presentation/final product is alot better than something that has been cooked with toothpicks in it.

@CornDoctor - I can't say I agree there. Marco has became a shill for Knorr products, and many of his YouTube videos are shockingly bad (look at the Steak au Poivre video, for example) - but THIS "Video Jug" Chicken Kiev recipe is terrible - as are most of their videos. The production standards are good, which makes me wonder why they couldn't hire a qualified chef to make the food, instead of these amateur hacks?

Try "breadcrumming" chicken for a restaurant... 200 at a time. You basically breadcrum your whole arm... then end up not knowing what is chicken and what is arm .. and then fry and eat your arm in the confusion
